Overview

You will learn massage strokes and so much more to support Stimulation, Relaxation, Relief and Interaction with your baby.

My name is Lizz, and I am a Licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Educator of Infant Massage through InfantMassage USA since 2020.

What to expect?

What is the time commitment? 2-day course, roughly 45-60 min each, depending on the needs of the baby/family

Where do the classes take place? I come to any location of your choice (your home, church, YMCA, etc.) within a 30-mile radius of Kenwood Mall in Cincinnati, OH for a $20 travel fee. For further locations, an additional travel fee may be included

Who can attend an infant massage (IM) class? The foundation of IM is bonding and communication. There is no restriction on who can learn or benefit along with the baby. Mothers, Fathers, Grandparents, Foster Parents, Caregivers, etc. are welcome (at no extra charge) to learn hands-on or simply come to provide support

What is the best age for my baby to attend an IM class? Most beneficial for babies 1-6 months old

What if my baby has additional needs? Babies born prematurely or with additional/special needs are welcomed and classes are adapted as necessary to provide optimal environmental and sensory support

What will I gain from this course? You will be provided massaging oil; handouts of the strokes learned; and additional educational handouts regarding baby communication, positioning, and sleep
